Clerk of the Meeting
John Donathan
At EFC, the most significant decisions are made by the congregation, during our Meeting for Business. No votes are taken, but all members and attenders at EFC may speak after a time of prayer and quiet searching. It’s the clerk’s role to direct the meeting in such a way as to invite insights from participants, help discern where Christ is leading, and to summarize and record when a decision has been reached. A skilled clerk is important, during what can be a slow process. We’re grateful for John’s leadership.
Clerk of Elders
Jan Robbins
Together with the pastor, the Elders have a special responsibility for the prayer life and spiritual care of the community. When the congregation faces a difficult decision, the Elders may take the lead in drafting proposals, but these must be approved, amended, or rejected by the Meeting for Business. This requires a wise and forward-thinking clerk.
Caretakers
John & Davina Donathan
John & Davina are our on-site caretakers. John is also the Clerk of the Meeting. Davina coordinates the space and event rentals at our facility.
Communications Coordinator
Stephanie Olson
Stephanie works in the church office and is responsible for all church-related media, event advertising and web design.
